Journey through the Holidays 2026
Journey through the Holidays with us for our annual gift donation drive and holiday party.
It's Our Little Story partners with DCFS for the northern & northwest suburbs of Chicago to create a memorable holiday experience for the youth in care. We do this in two distinct ways.
1. We put on an amazing holiday party for the children to enjoy some family time with their foster families and other children in similar situations. We provide a great meal, DJ, activities, and gifts from Santa!
2. We collect donations to fulfill 3 wishes for each child we serve. Donations are accepted for children aged newborn to 18 years old through the month of November and most of December. We then sort these gifts and deliver them in time for the holidays.
If you are currently in foster care or have previously been in foster care, we want to grant your wish!
Please contact your caseworker for the current wish form to submit your wishes no later than November 1, 2026!
